Review of Vinegar "Pork Trotter" (Vegan) at Ci Yan by freebeerd
This is a vegan version of the Chinese dish 猪脚醋. There is no pork in it of course. The broth is vinegary sweet, as good as any I've tried. The protein in this dish is kidney beans, beancurd skin, and seitan. There's plenty of ginger, orange peel and other herbs flavouring the broth. Goes great with rice.
