Review of Original Tempeh - Lightlife by veganfarmersdaughter

I've tried this a couple times now, and love it!
This is the only brand I've found locally, so this is the only brand of tempeh I've cooked with. Similar to tofu, you do need to add some sauce/marinade to give it flavor. But I love the more complex flavor you get out of tempeh.
If this is your first time using it, there is a layer of vacuum sealed plastic under the outer package (2 layers of plastic wrapping it), so just make sure you removne it. It is hard to tell it's there. Just slice up the tempeh, add sauce, saute. I usually have a hard time not eating the whole batch right there!
It's fast, easy, delicious... You can't go wrong.
