Review of Good Hope Soy Milk Regular Unsweetened - Good Hope by maesti

This is OK I guess if you are OK with having lots of ingredients in your soy milk. I wanted one that was unsweetened so I could make a mushroom sauce - but... silly me! Unsweetened in South Africa doesn't mean unflavoured. The second I poured in just a tablespoon of this into my sauce all I could smell was vanilla. Yuck and yuck. My regular brand was out of stock (it only has beans water and a bit of salt) so I guess this is OK if you don't want sugar but love vanilla and are only using it for cereal or in your coffee. Anyway... It seems most of the soy milks in South Africa have 'flavourings' - buyer beware :). #pigsnpaws
