Monkey head mushroom rice at Green Bliss Habitatziji's Review (Nov 10, 2019)

It's not the gong bao (wok seared in high heat) style of cooking monkey head mushroom, but this light version tastes good too. The rice is flavoured, somewhat like nasi lemak. I asked for less sauce because I prefer my rice dry. The usual version has more sauce on the rice. I like that it looks like a proper plate of plants, except for that couple of pieces of mock meat. A light and tasty dish for times when you want to have something not too heavy and have room for desert later. Don't let that "clean" look fool you - it's satisfyingly flavourful!
