Review of Stuffed Portobello Steak at The Modern Vegan by bandita
Portobello steak topped with 'lobster' mix and melted 'mozzarella'. Served with sauteed broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus. Drizzled with pesto. Gluten free. If this place wasn't all plant-based, I would have questioned the cheese because it tasted so rich and creamy, just like the dairy counterpart! The asparagus is a nice touch too that goes well with it. I wasn't too crazy about the side of cauliflower/broccoli, which is a big portion, and I felt that overall, it was too pricy, but the portobello steak was delicious. Because of the price, I don't think I'd get this again, unless they ever give a cheaper option to get this without the cauliflower/broccoli. I think rice would be more appropriate, but this is certainly a healthy option.
