Zesty Ramen for Vegan at Engine Ramen — Sabrina Chu's Review (Mar 5, 2019)

The soup was zesty as implied and packed a spicy punch from the multiple peppers enough to break a sweat. But beyond that there was nothing going for the dish. Toppings were meagre, basically spring onions floating on soup. I chose the gluten-free option (konjac noodles). Maybe it was the wrong choice to go with the soup. I expected much more considering the price of the dish and that they are a speciality ramen restaurant. (¥1230). This dish is one of two vegan options available. #vegankyoto
