For years my mom used to make us Karela, which is what we call bitter melon or bitter gourd in India. As a kid it tastes so bitter and awful! So I’ve never ordered these before at #dintaifung but thought I’d try them and they were amazing! Served chilled and marinated in a soybean paste, they tasted like a tangy pickle and were super refreshing. Crazy how I’m becoming like my parents... 🤭

vikas Just the tiniest bit but more tangy and pickly than bitter. Definitely try them. Especially since the cold cucumber there isn’t even vegetarianReply

manjugarg I make touch of brown sugar and fresh green mango or termrind paste which makes yummy sweet and sour tasty 😋 Reply
