Review of Chorizo Burrito at Jajaja Plantas Mexicana by sabnspice

Located in NYC's Lower East Side, Jajaja's stands out from the gritty Chinatown neighbourhood with its vegan Mexican fare and pastel interior channeling a laid-back, fun vibe.

The food came beautifully presented, as instagrammable as its interior. Beneath the glossy, Mexico flag-decked burrito was fermented black beans, cauliflower rice, seitan chorizo and guacamole. Though I'd never had a meat-based burrito before, the flavours were bold and hearty, the seitan mimicking a chewy 'mince meat' texture.

Overall an excellent and affordable spot for vegan Mexican fare in NYC!
