The burrito is a must try! So delicious and filling. Plus the tricolor sauces are
so fun to try and for photos!
Located in NYC's Lower East Side, Jajaja's stands out from the gritty Chinatown neighbourhood with
its vegan Mexican fare and pastel interior channeling a laid-back, fun vibe.
The food came beautifully presented, as instagrammable as its interior. Beneath the glossy, Mexico flag-decked burrito was fermented black beans, cauliflower rice, seitan chorizo and guacamole. Though I'd never had a meat-based burrito before, the flavours were bold and hearty, the seitan mimicking a chewy 'mince meat' texture.
Overall an excellent and affordable spot for vegan Mexican fare in NYC!
What a fun burrito! Not the best burrito I’ve had but still pretty great! Large
and filling. Stuffed with so much goodness. Their chorizo is great!
It came out smaller than I expected however it was really good. It also had
a nice heat to it so if you're not used to spicy, it may be a little strong.
