Okay the one thing here that I gave an unequivocal affirmative yes to 🙂 These #deepfried #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease #sweettooth friendly treats were crunchy, greasy, and delightful in every possible way ☺️ Especially with the #lotuspaste filling which was heavenly. Omg loved this! 😋

You'll like these if you like #mochi but still want to retain your conviction that #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease 😊 A layer of #deepfried batter gives this a momentary crisp that then cedes ground to the stickiness of the white stuff within. Then at the end the #brownsugar comes oozing out, completing the trifecta of crispy, starchy, and sweet flavours 🙂

The #taufoofah part was okay, decent, usual silky soft stuff. But the #blacksesame was such a horrendous letdown, diluted and tasteless 😪 I get it, this place tries to be a 茶餐厅 and serve humble comfort food (at not so humble prices 😏), but this isn't really acceptable

Sorry, picture completely out of focus 😂 But I knew better than to let my camera come between a hungry woman and her food so 🤷‍♂️ This was a decent #dessert #soup, with the #ginger nicely counterbalanced by the sweetness of the soup and of the #sweetpotato 😋 You get little glutinous balls, either made of rice or of #taro, your choice 🙂
