The Sampler plate includes Arroz Con Gandules (Specialty Puerto Rican Rice And Beans) With Seasoned vegan Chicken skewers, Maduros (Fried Plantains), and A Side Of Salad. It's not only vegan but also gluten free. I like the sampler plate because you get to try many different items on one plate. It's a good presentation of Puerto Rican cuisine. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of Salu Hall. Casa Borinqueña is 100% vegan. They also have some amazing desserts!

This place is in Saluhall, a very vegan friendly food court adjacent to the new IKEA in downtown San Francisco. This is the second dish I’ve tried and it was delicious. Easily the best vegan chicken I’ve ever had. They have two sampler plates that are identical, except one has BBQ sauce (I got the one without it, which, oddly, was $2 more!). The plate includes a generous amount of vegan chicken, Puerto Rican rice, plantains and salad. It was so good, it will be hard for me to try other things in this food court! #puertoricovegano #veganchicken
