Oh my goodness, I wish you could taste this right now! If you like #apple crumble you have to go and grab a slice. It's crambed with spicy #apples, topped with a buttery crumble and served with #caramel sauce and #vanilla #icecream It's a generous slice which I didn't think I could finish but I did because I couldn't stop eating it 🤫 I'd go back to Jonkershuis just for this! #vegandessert

Perfectly rolled ravioli filled with butternut and then finished off with cashew butter, hazelnuts, sage and lemon. A delicious #flavour combination 👌 I appreciated that the chef asked for feedback as apparently I was the very first person to order this new dish. I did feel it could do with a bit more acidity to break through the richness so they were going to tweak it a little. All in all a great dish. It is quite expensive which is expected at a venue like this. Groot Constantia is a beautiful, historical site and certainly worth a visit 😃

I was amazed at the portion size - super generous! This was so tasty throughout, from the pastry base to the sweet crumble topping. The raisins and apple were cooked beautifully and the vegan cinnamon ice cream was out of this world 🤩 They complemented each other really nicely. The pastry at the end of the slice was a little dry but otherwise this was an absolutely delightful dessert!

Wow! This was a super tasty and filling meal, beautifully presented. The curry was mild and served with savoury rice, poppadums, the most amazing roti and coriander. The portion was generous and I loved the selection of vegetables in the curry. I enjoyed this tremendously

I don’t like apple crumble but I like dessert it’s not normally an option. This was very yummy! Crumbly, sweet and the ice cream was a great balance. Also the perfect portion size.

Jonkershuis definitely need to improve their vegan options. The three options on the breakfast menu were without imagination and uninspiring. This smashed avo was tasteless and a real disappointment 😔

Unfortunately, due to loadshedding,they were unable to warm the apple pie. I was rather disappointed at the portion. It was okay. The ice-cream was delicious.

I was truly disappointed when this was put in front of me. Dry bun, burnt patty, no cheese, no onion, as per the menu. The chips were unfortunately not fresh. Honestly, I can make a better burger at home for way less.

There are more raisins in it than apples. If you are not a raisins person, then this dessert is not for you. I was a bit disappointed. Flavour-wise, it was quite nice, maybe a touch more cinnamon. The ice cream was very nice, though.
