This bowl of sauteéd #noodles and #vegetables was so fresh and delicious! A mix of #carrot, #cherrytomatoes, #zucchini, #eggplant, #onion, #redpepper and #greenpeppers was tossed in a #soysauce along with tender #udonnoodles. The veggies were cooked just right, tender but not overdone, and very flavorful overall. We were worried that all the veg dishes might feel too similar but each one had a distinct flavor profile. Priced at 8,50€ for a filling bowl, my hubby and I split this dish which could easily be a filling meal for one. The surroundings are beautiful, with a seaside walk with natural pools and lava formations along with a quirky repurposed sculpture! This is a seaside locale that has some chillout areas to enjoy with a smoothie or a drink. There is a "vegetarian" section on the menu, we were wary about it so our first server confirmed that everything we ordered was vegan. These fried #eggplant sticks were soooo good! They were so light and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. As the menu reads "eggplant with honey" under the vegetarian section, we were wary about it so our first server confirmed that everything we ordered was vegan, and that the honey was palm honey as is usual for this dish. The sweetness of the palm honey was a wonderful contrast to the bitterness of the eggplant. Our only suggestion would be to serve more of the palm honey in the side bowl. We split this between two along with two other dishes and were totally satisfied. The surroundings are beautiful, with a seaside walk with interesting things to see including natural pools and lava formations! This is a seaside chiringuito that has some chillout areas to enjoy. This tosta was more delicious than we expected! Set upon a toasted whole-grain bread were perfectly tender sauteéd strips of #eggplant, #redpepper and #redonion. However the star of the dish was the spread on the bread - a tomato jam that was sweet but also #spicy! Just enough heat to let you know it is there - yum!
