While eating at Blackbird my friend (that didn't get full enough on her Ceasar salad) ordered this apatizer. Crispy potato thingys with a cheese sauce and jalapeños. I got to try it and it was good. The cheese sauce was nice and I'm always a sucker for most things potato. I give it 4 stars because I did not like the jalapeños.

I visited Gothenburg a couple of weeks back and ordered this at Blackbird. It's not something I've tried before but it sounded interesting. It's a french dish that's puff pastry filled with mushrooms and a seitan "chicken" in a cream sauce with white wine and truffle oil. It was served with salad with mustard vinaigrette. I absolutely loved it! Everything tasted amazing and the combo of flavours was AMAZING. The seitan chicken was very good and paired well with the sauce. The puff pastry was interesting and altho it was good I definitely prefered the filling. The salad and the vinaigrette was nice as well. 10/10 would def eat again. A lil expensive but it was worth it It was also nice that the restaurant was completely vegan

Homemade caramel ice cream with chocolate cover and caramel popcorn. The ice cream tasted like normal chocolate ice cream, the cover was extremely hard. Boring. The popcorn was good.

Kebab made from beans with hummus, muhammara, garlic mayonnaise, pita bread and veggies. This was not amazing. The kebab was soggy and had a weird texture, the garlic mayonnaise was absolutely tasteless, the bread was dry. The veggies were good.

Potato salad and tofu ribs, but we changed the potato salad to oven baked potatoes. The tofu wasn't great, it was boring and had that weird mushroom-y texture it sometimes gets. The potatoes and corn was amazing!

Pavlova con meringa di Aquafaba, scaglie di cocco e ananas caramellato. Davvero geniale, con tutti i sapori della Pina Colada 🍹 Sebbene non sia il “mio tipo di dolce”, sono rimasta molto impressionata dalla complessità tecnica nel ricreare la ricetta e dal risultato estetico e al gusto. Leggera e gustosa!
