Get this if you love #peach, not so much if you like #cheesecake to taste like cheese 😅 In other words, my kind of #sweettooth friendly #dessert 😋 But there's no crumbly cheesecake base, it's literally just a slightly thickened pudding 🙂 For that reason they couldn't let me take it away; it had to be served in that glass ramekin. But man, so worth it 😊

Forget everything else, that #friedtofu - scratch, #deepfried and battered #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease #tofu 🤤 - alone was worth ordering this for. The fried seasoned #tempeh was good too, and I also loved, like loved, the #sambal imo, mad #spicy though it was 🥲 And the sweet #darksoysauce just made everything 20% better. This was outstanding 🥰 Frankly, the whole of Vegan Place is 🙂

Not #currymee but mee curry, English orthography combining as beautifully with Malay grammar as, well, the #kari and the #noodles 😏 No #diningwithchopsticks here then 🥲 Such a sumptuous bowl of stuff though, seriously 😋 Loads of #longbeans, #taugeh, #fucuk, #tofu in the form of fried puffs, and #tempeh ☺️ And every slurp of the highly aromatic broth was divine. Still undoubtedly, unquestionably, undeniably the best vegan place in KL 🥰

#spicy 🔥😋 These #dumplings weren't cheap, working out at RM4+ a 2-bite pop 😬 But they had good flavour, especially with the #mala coating (ginger was an alternative option), which folded quite nicely because the #soymince was soft and accommodating. There was also an impossibly generous amount of sauce on the side - #soysauce and #chilli - so dip to your heart's content and dig in? 😋

I don't know if I'd pay RM32.20 for this again, but it was a more than satisfactory meal 🙂 If paying inflated prices is how we can stop this restaurant from making good on their threat to add vegetarian options, then in fact I'm happy to do it. #nasigoreng comes in many colours, shapes, and flavours. This one wasn't too "loud", not particularly #spicy. Not particularly greasy either, with a #rice that looked like a somewhat healthy breed (if such a thing exists). Two (!) sticks of #hericiummushroom playing the part of a dry #satay (not sufficiently marinated imo), two thin slices of #tempeh, two #pappadam which were air-fried rather than grease-drowned. Safe, middle-of-the-road option 🙂

A bizarre affair 🥲 I don't know if pieless pie is now a thing, but this had no pastry or crust, and was just #potato slices piled on top of baked #cauliflower. Weird 😐 And the random cluster of vegetables posing as an actual salad on the side? Not even worth the effort of eating it ☹️

Why go for the kill when you can go for the #kale? 😏 There was loads and loads of kale in this, the green monotony interrupted only by the #avocado (generous portion too), the caramelised #walnuts, and the dried #cranberries 😋 And the #garlic dressing 😋😋😋 Very atas food this, it wasn't even a filling lunch and it cost me RM39 😳

We know all about how wonderful the Vegan Place's #nasilemak is ☺️ One of the most convincing #sambal renditions - vegan or not - with fried #tempeh and the genius move of using fried #bananablossom as the #ikanbilis replacement to go alongside the #kacanggoreng 🤤🤤 This is my third review of a different nasi lemak variant from them, and I hope they release more pairings so that it isn't my last 🫠 The breaded #tofu was also out of this world 😋 Crispy outside, generously greased, and yet with the density of tofu flavour that you would want. I savoured every bite of this 😊

Mummified cold beverage for a warm Friday afternoon 🙃 At least the #deathbyplastic serves a purpose; I didn't actually remove the layers before drinking, because they were lined with whatever had spilled out of the plastic cup during the travails of a GrabFood delivery 😏 A very thick and flavourful #chocoholic drink, made with the creamiest #mylk available - #oatmilk. And still some say that they remain to be convinced about how easy it is to #ditchdairy 🥺

RM15 for a #flatwhite 😬😬 No surcharge as the default is #oatmilk, but it comes out expensive anyway 😏 At least there was a good intensity and flavour to the thing, which is great for a #coffeelover like me 🙂
