Chiiken Rice

This is still the best vegan #chickenrice I’ve ever had 🙌 Even after a whole year later of having tried everything else. The rice was baptised in #ginger and oh so ever aromatic 😋 Cooked to the right level of graininess too for that authentic street experience. Of course at RM20 per portion they’d have to pull it off 🤭 The #veganchicken they used is in fact simply #beancurd but rolled and grilled to give it a similar effect to actual #chicken. Not unique to them, though their execution certainly is. It’s the best I’ve ever had! Down to the #chillisauce and #soysauce pairings too! My only regret is not having an omni around to shove this in their face 😜 #bestpicks #throwback

By a landslide, this was the best #veganchickenrice I’ve had 😝 It was SO CLOSE to the real thing! I was only a little sad that I couldn’t have it all to myself 😅 Thank you ginger for blessing this rice 🙏😙 I could’ve had it greasier but it’s still aromatic as heck 😜 just the way I like it. A hat tip to the side of sliced fresh cucumber, and a bow to the friends who helped eat the tomatoes I didn’t want 😂 Onto the main show, the perfectly cooked #beancurdroll 🤪 Just a little more salt and it may have been even more convincing as #chicken 🤓 It still had that natural sweetness but it was still magnificent 👌 The soup was maybe the best part 😝 just so warm and tastes just like chicken broth ☺️ Also, I didn’t try it but friends said the sambal was good 👍 RM20 is a painful price for #chickenrice 💔 Yet… in my heart of hearts, I know I’ll be back 😅
