This got smaller? 😭 …and @m1tch9i and I definitely got bigger 😴 Unfortunately while this was perfectly #savoury and flavourful, the level 2 #spicy (out of 4) barely scratches the itch for me 🥹 We split this portion and the lowest common denominator unfortunately must take precedence 🥺 You don’t get to pick your sides like before and generally the atmosphere is quite different, no longer giving #hawkerfood vibes 😕 It’s just a regular #coffeeshop now 😣 Their foods are still delicious at least 😇 My friends had their #laksa and even volunteered that it’s better then the omnivorous one they had 🙌 Heck yea 😎

It is with great pleasure that I can now officially state that dish is both #omnivoreapproved & with 4 confirmed thumbs up, Malaysian approved too 👍 Especially if you order it #spicy 🥵 I was shocked though that this came at over S$30??! 🤯 My last order was only around S$15! Of course this was a larger portion I suppose 🧐 Finding a #halal or at the very-least “pork free” #mala isn’t always easy in Singapore for my Muslim friends, especially given most vegetarian places do not know how to spice their food 😐 …at least according to our East Malaysian standards. I at least have this spot to recommend now 🤗 When we got home he was even telling our other housemate about how good this was! Makan Vegan is a godsend! 🙌

I want to bring everyone I know here 🤩 The #mala stir-fry is just unbelievable #savoury 🙌 It starts with you picking a minimum of 300g worth of toppings from their stall 👨‍🍳 They’ve got a variety of #mushrooms 🍄, vegetables 🍆, #tofu, and #fakemeat options too 🐷 We went for the mala #hotpot regulars like baby corn 🌽, #bittergourd, and lotus root 🪷 This is definitely a dish you want to share! The #noodles were our picking but you can opt for rice too 🍚 The main point of #malaxiangguo is the mix of ingredients and that numbing #spicy of #szechuan / #sichuan peppers 🌶️ The amount of #chilli you see here, about roughly 10% of the filling, is what you get for a “medium” spicy 🥵 I was begging and insisting @m1tch9i for more heat but she wanted to “play it safe” 🙄 We had two very satisfactory portions for only S$14.50 with some to spare for a post-drinks supper 🍻 It’s not #weightloss friendly for sure but with the blood pressure readings I’ve had lately I could use all the salt from a dish this indulgent 🤭 ps. for you #betterwithoutcoriander embarrassing soap gene goths 🧬 they actually ask if you want to top the dish off with it at the end (same for the peanuts) 🥜 in case you’re worried about the unethical amounts of it on show 😮‍💨 #bestpicks #allveganrestaurant #veganuary #welikeitspicy
