tofu croquette

These balls of fried tofu were absolutely delicious and the sauce on them was slightly tangy which a hint of seaweed. Yum!

Crisp outer shell gives way to tender innards of a mixture of mushroom, tofu and wakame. A croquette with a Japanese accent that goes well with the accompanying yuzu-kosho mayo. A moreish, umami-rich appetizer.

Looks nice and all. That's what their establishment is all about. But then, once I sank my teeth into the croquette hor, I was confused. Why is the tofu in this croquette like Lao Ban beancurd. They should've used firm tofu. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
