Bitter gourd Boiled Soup

This was part of their soup of the day and only a $2.70 top up to their chicken rice meal. Taste wise the bitterness is just right.

Enjoyed the flavour of the bittergourd gentlely spreading through the mouth~ and for a small bowl, they gave quite a good amount of bittergourd and protein pieces to justify the price~

Nice to have clear soup time to time with some wholesome ingredients, like bittergourd! The taste of the bittergourd comes through, and is not masked by the savoury side of the soup.

Pretty good though I was hoping for more mock meat in there. It is a bitter gourd soup but a bit more mock meat might be nicer.
