Ali, who works at the Vault, has us hooked on their paninis. They are always on the blackboard menu, and there’s always one that can be Veganized. There are regular items on the menu that are vegan as well. We are never left out here. The ambiance is kooky and fantastic! The staff is a 10 1/2 on a scale of 1 to 10! :-)

So so SO delicious!! It was a sunny crystalline wintery day and (not even hungry) we went in for a coffee. I couldn’t resist this Vegan brunch special. The pancakes were hot and the absolute best. (sorry to have forgotten to take a pic before eating most of it!) The Vault always – Always! – has something vegan to eat. The ambiance is quite fun…. The staff fantastic!

It’s probably not fair, but after having The Vault’s fabulous vegan coffee cake, this was a bit pedestrian… However!!… 1. This is a tried and true staple of theirs; I nearly always find a vegan muffin there. 2. It is not too sweet! Yay! 3. it is dense, made with whole grain and not white flour. 4. Since one of my favourite things is to go out for coffee, I am always looking for a baked item or pastry. So often I would kill for this kind of thing…. You must take my less than raving review with a grain of salt, it is a lovely muffin! And I LOVE The Vault! Cheers to you for making it through the pandemic!

I love this place. The barista today was vegan, and was really sweet to chat with. I love the roast that they use for both their regular coffee and decaf.

OOPS!!! SORRY!!!! I completely forgot about my comrades at abillion….. …. even my name, uff! even my latte… This coffee cake was fabulous. Vegan (and gluten-free), and amazing. I have gone back three times since having this, craving this… And they haven’t made it again. Dang! The Vault always has vegan food. You can depend on it! You cannot always depend on cinnamon coffee cake… Drat!

Killer latte! So delicious with oat milk. I love the ambiance of this place – in an old bank with high ceilings and an eclectic patronage. That plus the latte, and my best friend/ partner’s conversation – I was enjoying myself so much that I drank almost all of it before I remembered to photograph it.

I really really like The Vault. I will order this again, but it was a little dry and cold. Mostly the food is good. So….. a gentle review. It’s one of my favourite spots in town.

Yay! So exciting when the Vault has a selection of vegan goodies. This muffin was admittedly a bit dry, but pretty good overall. Crunchier on outside, softer on inside 👌 Would recommend going to see what vegan things they have #veganisnotscary
