Prive Sausage Muffin

English muffin stacked with a thick and juicy #Impossible sausage patty, doused in vegan spiced cheese sauce (like nacho cheese), and vegan mayonnaise. 🍔🧀 So savoury and yummy! Served alongside 2 hashbrowns which were perfectly crispy without being oily, plus a mesclun side salad that I personally found a little simple - could have had some cherry tomatoes and/or nuts and seeds etc for added colour, texture, and nutrition. 🥔🥗 All-day breakfast available till 5pm. The highlight of this is the hash browns! They are served hot. The crunch is perfect. The hash browns taste so vegan-buttery & fragrant, yet not overly oily & heavy. Prefect hash browns! The best I have tasted! 🏆🥇 The #veganmayo tastes light but lacks the depth of a good hearty mayo 😅 It seems the same mayo has been mixed with the salad given the leaves a subtle white coat which makes the greens tastes lots sweeter which I enjoyed it :) The thick patty is moist & definitely very generous in serving, but I like Beyond sausage patty more 😉 When I bit into the muffin, “Indian curry” is the first taste that comes through. I guess the vegan “cheese” has curry powder added for its colour. Though the #vegancheese looks good, it doesn’t taste cheesy at all. 😕 Overall, I would say this dish didn’t wow me as much as the Aug 2023 monthly special 😬 $13.50 ( $16.04, service charge & gst inclusive)

Wow, I missed this. Taste really good. The patty is big and tasty. The sauces are very flavourful.

This sausage muffin puts maccas to shame. Patty was really juicy. Comes with smashed avocado, hash browns and a salad. Top stuff

MacDonald’s should seriously consider adding plant-based options like this to their menus. Meanwhile, those who like McDonald’s sausage McMuffin should try this. Feels like a healthier but just as tasty (if not tastier) version with salad on the side. It was nice to sit at Prive Wheelock on a lazy weekend morning and watch the world go by. #mcdonalds #muffin #vegansausage
