Wok-fried rice with fragrant toon leaves, topped with winged beans (not commonly seen in eateries!!), cabbage, generous serving of tofu, and mushroom 'ikan bilis'. 🍚🥬 I thought the dish was quite tasty, albeit somewhat greasy (the norm for dishes with toon it seems). Toon 香椿 might be an acquired taste though; my companion wasn't a fan ahaha. It has a pungent aroma and is sometimes used to substitute garlic and onion. Portion size good for 2 to 3 pax! Not sure why this is called fried rice when it was a dish of silken tofu with preserved toon with a bowl of steamed white rice. Tofu was very fresh and yummy with the toppings of toon and deep fried enoki. A little salty and oily but okay to eat with rice.
