Liked how they have quinoa as the base. Note that some of the dishes were served cold as it was part of the salad bar.
so worth it !! omt shld have discovered it earlier :"""") its sooo much food ?! i chose the warm protein bowl. the vegan falafel was my protein of choice. we could choose upto two grains so i got brown&red rice + cauliflower rice (first time trying,, tbh j tastes like cauliflower but smoller -- ig,, what was i even expecting. lowkey i think its overhyped) then for my veggies i chose tofu, broccoli, sweet potato and seaweed. my sauce of choice was tahini. only gripe was that the grains and veggies were all cold sobsss,, and lowkey soggy ah the veggies. but wtv sm food so ig still worth. thoooo it would have been great if they could heat up the veggies like broc sweet potato and tofu ((like bruh the menu put roasted sp sooo?? when it was cold&soggy its such a bummer)) the cold seaweed was nubad thooo hehe i loved it.
Customised my own salad at Cedele this time. Its not my favourite place to go for BYOB to be honest but its the nost convenient as they have several outlets. The winning factor for me was their pumpkin and cauliflower rice and the wide variety of dressings available! Perhaps i should stick to their customised salads
I love cedele’s bowls. Every thing is really fresh and tasty! But the falafels at Raffles City are way way better than the ones at Vivo City. Both aren’t authentic and actually taste like curry powder... however the Vivo ones are dense and mushy whereas the Raffles City one’s are crisp yet fluffy! I also like their pumpkin, sweet potato and mushrooms! I find the portions generous for the price. Vivo’s cedele used to be called Toss N Turn, and the pricing is a bit different. The cheapest bowl is $9.80 at Vivo and $10.80 at Raffles City if I recall correctly :)
The salads at Cedele never fail me. There is a good variety of ingredients to choose from, and they are very generous with them. My favourites are the tofu, wakame salad, falafel, and pumpkin. It’s $10.80 to construct your own (1 base, 1 protein, 4 toppings/veg, 1 dressing). I went for the lime cashew dressing, and they have many others to select from.
