I know I’m giving this a pretty harsh rating - it’s mainly due to the
price and presentation. Taste-wise, it is enjoyable and I thoroughly enjoyed the addition of the walnuts. I got these from Checkers and their price labels for the Yum Baker goods were a mess, they only had the price for walnut fudge (or something like that?) which was R40-something and unavailable. I mistakenly assumed this would cost the same (they do have price scanning points all around the shop, so really, I should have double-checked). I got home and saw on the slip these were R82.99 🥴 I know it contains nuts, but I think the price is very steep for what you’re getting.
Also, presentation-wise, I wasn’t super impressed. There was brownie batter stuck on the back of the container and I think more care can be taken in the chocolate and nut topping.
