For my birthday, @jonok got me a beautiful new braiser! I wanted to use it right away and I thought it would be perfect for a shepherds pie! For a good shepherds pie, you'll want a vegan Worcestershire sauce. It gives the filling a good umami meaty flavor that is hard to find in other ingredients. It smells a bit like molasses but it is much easier to pour. Usually Worcestershire Sauce contains anchovies, but this is a vegan version of it. I use it for Bloody Mary, Bigos (a Polish dish) and some seitan recipes #veganin2020
