I have finally tried paneer. After all these years. I bought it as it’s Woollies.

The only difference to tofu that I note is the texture, which is actually great, and I have had most of this bowl, piping hot, from the air fryer rolled in olive oil, fresh pepper and N yeast flakes, with a fiery Mayo chili mix. #brunch A definite fridge staple, methinks

R59.99 I’m impressed - saw this today and my grubby paws grabbed with delight 😛

Cut a little piece and popped in the air fryer to do the taste test - also ate a little piece as is - slightly salty, firm texture - can’t quite describe the flavour - it’s subtle but it’s there. Can’t wait to have it in a curry etc
