The vegan soup range Woolies released last year was AMAZING! They set the bar quite

high with those soups. They released two new soups this cold season - this Middle Eastern style lentil soup and a tomato + red pepper one. I went in with high expectations and was left disappointed.

I will say, I tried both these soups when I was sick and didn’t have an appetite - so I might be overly harsh on these soups because I’m associating it with a time when I couldn’t stomach food. The tomato and red pepper one was actually still nice, but I did not enjoy this lentil one at all.

I think it may also be the texture that I didn’t enjoy. I prefer a smooth soup over a chunky one.
