Watermelon

My first watermelon of the season! My favorite whole food summertime treat! It’s usually my

dessert every night, so cold and refreshing. It may not be a great season this year, so much rain! Might have to depend on the CA growers but just bring them on, please!

On a hot day is there anything better than a chunk of juicy watermelon? I

like a touch of salt just like my dad used to eat it.

Our pigs routinely get fresh produce as part of their “Secret Snack”… I’d like to

think they’d review the watermelon as the most favorite of all.

My favorite summer fruit !! It’s so filling and hydrating too !!
