Mediterranean Style Block

kind of an interesting texture once cooked, kind of like halloumi, it doesn’t really melt. Great taste and would add it to pasta pesto or make your own #veganized halloumi burger #violife #unofficialambassador

I believe this is suppose to imitate halloumi cheese, which my family only discovered a

few years ago. But it wasn’t until we found this vegan version that I was able to try it as well. And it was delicious! We even got it to squeak :) We made ours into sandwich using baguette slices as the bread with tomato and lettuce. It still had a little bit of the “vegan cheese” smell, but once cooked was hardly noticeable. Violife is quickly becoming my favorite brand for cheese blocks, slices, and shreds. #uplandspeak

While it's hard to fine a good vegan cheese, this one is good replacement for

halloumi.
