Greek style block

This is #lidl's version of #greekstyle #vegancheese that randomly appeared in the store last week. It is a pretty good version of #feta flavorwise, though I think I prefer the Violife Greek white version. It crumbles slightly while being creamy but texture-wise doesn't hold up to much more than that. Not much to offer nutritionally, however that applies to most vegan cheeses I've seen. I do appreciate Lidl's effort, as a few months back I wrote them an email about the dwindling range of vegan products, though this is certainly a temporary offer. Priced at 2,39€ for 150g. Not as good as the violife but a good version from lidl. Cheaper than other brands and a good attempt.

buona alternativa al feta ma non eccellente come quello Violife. il sapore non mi ha ricordato moltissimo quello del feta e l’ho trovato un filo troppo salato. la consistenza invece era troppo secca per somigliare al feta. nel complesso in una pasta fredda o insalata greca ci sta bene quindi nel caso lo ricomprerei pure! 📍Lidl €1,79 #lidl #vemondo #feta

Il gusto è esattamente lo stesso della feta, anzi a parer mio anche meglio perchè è leggermente meno salato senza perdere gusto! La consistenza è leggermente piú molle di quello della feta, ma hey, what did you expect?
