I could easily eat this whole bag as a meal. It has just the right
amount of seasoning and I didn’t add a thing. This would be easy to add extra veggies to make it heartier
While there’s a certain satisfaction that comes from cooking a meal from scratch, there’s equal enjoyment when something tastes like it was made from scratch, but cooks in a fraction of the time. The plethora of meal options in our freezer cases is a testament to this convergence of convenience and enjoyment—why stand over a hot stove or cutting board (and later, the kitchen sink) when you have tasty, pre-prepped meal components, ready to heat and eat at a moment’s notice? Trader Joe’s Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry is the newest addition to our user-friendly frozen lineup. A boon to the home cook, it starts with a base of blanched, toothsome cauliflower crumbles seasoned with savory tamari sauce and nutty sesame oil. Green peas, red bell peppers, grilled corn, and spring onions are added for fresh, vegetal flavor and vibrant color. On top of its careful composition, this veggie-party-in-a-bag offers impressive nutrition to boot, with just 50 calories, two grams of fat and seven grams of carbs in a one-cup serving. It'd be difficult to say the same about fried rice from a takeout container. Were you to create this dish from scratch, you’d be looking at close to an hour of prep & cook time. With a bag of this Stir Fry in hand, however, you’re mere minutes away from a filling, flavorful side dish. Simply heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a non-stick skillet, add stir fry and cook until warmed through, 6 to 7 minutes. Top with the cooked protein of your choice, and that side dish becomes a hearty meal (we especially like it topped with a fried egg, sliced avocado, and a generous squirt of TJ's Sriracha Sauce). We’re offering 16-ounce bags of Trader Joe’s Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry for the WOW price of $2.99, everyday. You’ll find them in our freezers.

some added tofu). The veggies keep their bite and the cauliflower doesn’t get mushy. It needs some extra soy sauce and/or hot spice afterwards, but as to be expected!
another protein. I do enjoy the flavor but feel as though it is more work to prepare then I’m looking for in a frozen product as it takes a while to get the liquid out. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE to cook, but when I reach for something frozen it means I want to go the convenient route. It is tasty though, especially w added soy sauce or other Asian style sauces. And a creative idea!
