We love Indian food, so when I saw these lentil and chickpea papadum crisps at

Trader Joe's I had to try them. We both really enjoyed these! They are super thin, light and crisp. I served them with some dal and mango chutney and they were fabulous 🤤
I will say though, that if you don't like cumin, these probably aren't going to be your favorite because they are fairly cumin heavy.

Hm. More of a savory, Umami flavor rather than the classic salty chip I was

expecting. With the bland flavor of the lentils, chickpeas and rice bran oil, the cumin is immediately identified with traces of salt. The nutrition info and ingredients I love, but the flavor of the product (by itself) not so much. I think these would be a great base alongside dips or like recommended on the back of the package, crumbled pieces to top salads. Lots of other uses and ideas, but not an alternative to plain chips or crackers for me. Nice to try something unique and think of different recipe ideas to utilize these! Swipe for nutrition info!

These are very simple thin crackers with a hint of cumin. Pretty good but not

amazing. Labeled vegan.

Light and crispy. Great to use in soups or lentil curry. I could eat the

whole bag in one sitting!
