I ABSOLUTELY love this! The coffee flavor is so good with the coconut undertone and

the boba is a fun bonus!

It was super hard to stick with a sensible portion!

Points for originality! 🧋

I bet this was inspired by the famed brown sugar boba

ice cream bar. Luckily for us in the U.S., the Trader Joe’s option is 1. way cheaper since it doesn’t have to be imported and 2. vegan!

Unfortunately, I was expecting (not just hoping, but fully expecting) to love this, and it was kind of meh.

The boba was somewhat chewy (not frozen rock solid), but not with the same level of satisfaction as in the bars or in boba tea. The cold brew coffee ice cream flavor was mediocre. Although the problem could be that I’ve gotten bougie with my coffee selection? 😅

Not sure whether I’d get it again, but I love that it was created and that it’s vegan! The concept is good, so if they refine it, I could see it being a favorite.

Oh, Trader Joe’s. Did I need this? Nope. Is it awesome? Well, yeah. They’ve always

been good at vegan ice cream and this one is no different- it’s silky with those pops of boba and the coffee flavor is SO GOOD (I shouldn’t go shopping hungry or with a headache because this is what happens). Best part is it’s not that expensive and they’re offering more and more vegan options. Or maybe that’s not the best part if I keep impulse buying.

I love the boba in this coffee ice cream. The flavor of coffee is not

in the background. It’s a little bit bold (not bitter) and I like that. They have a black tea version that I like too. The chewy boba bites really give a great texture!
