This isn’t my favorite roast, but it’s pretty good for the price. I love that Trader Joe’s made their own and it makes these roast more accessible. Some of the other brands can be a bit spendy when not on sale. I think Trader Joe’s could improve the gravy the most. It was just ok. The flavor was meh and it was pretty gelatinous. Overall, I would get another brand over this one, but it was still fairly good and I’m glad that it exists.
I brought this to a Thanksgiving dinner and it was amazing! 💕 It comes freezed and then has to cook for an hour or so, I had it with vegetables 🥬 and then had oil and paprika over it. The flavour is very good and the texture is turkey-y! The filling is not exceptional, but overall good, and the gravy is amazing! #veganthanksgiving #thanksgiving #frozen
Probably the best roast i have made. Even forgot to defrost for 24 hours but it defrosted fine in the microwave. My whole non-veggie family liked it too!
Taste was pretty good but not the best I've had, I just had the Gardein roast and it tasted better. Also the stuffing inside fell apart from the turkey right away, the Gardein roast didn't do that.
