This is a love story....
...our very good friend has just moved into her beautiful

new house with her brand new Esse wood-burning stove on a small island on the west coast of British Columbia. She invited us to (American) Thanksgiving (I am from the US originally) and she prepared a gorgeous vegan feast .... and this was her maiden voyage in the new Esse!
I can’t tell you how sweet it is to be loved in this way, for a friend to prepare a spectacular and totally vegan meal. She sent leftovers of the Stuffed Beast by The Very Good Butchers home with us... scroll to see the last of it in a “Bowl.”

Stuffed veggie roast. This was a winner at our last family dinner. I wish

I took a picture after it was cooked. Delicious, plant-based goodness. The stuffing was good and the seitan meat was tender and juicy. #veganisnotscary

No special occasion, just saw that Wholefoods had this available so I grabbed one! She's

quite expensive, but definitely delicious and will last 4-5 meals! I cooked in the oven as per directions, with garlic, onion, potato, and other random veg. Lots of veggie broth to keep it from drying out. Really delicious, might get another for xmas 😁

Comparaison de différents rôtis vegan au travail. No.1 sur la photo. La farce est très

bonne avec les canneberges, le gravy très goûteux mais le seitan ne goute pas grand chose.

This is my to-go option for special ocasions. The flavour is very good, and I

made the “skin” with rice paper. Feeds 4-6. Love it 😊
