I love the original, but this one is also Very good! Not spicy though. I dipped my impossible nuggets in this sauce and they were so good! I devoured them before I could take a picture.

Although this sauce is supposed to be sweet and spicy, it seems like the heat was relegated to a minor role, which I maybe should have expected given that the composition is less than 2% jalapeño. Corn syrup and tomato paste are the first and third ingredients, respectively, and they’re definitely most pronounced. For a line that seems to have many sweet sauces (brown sugar, maple, etc.,) I was hoping for a bit more kick in their one spicy offering. I was still happy with my pulled jackfruit once I added some cayenne, but I think I’ll try something else next time.

We love Sweet Baby Ray's! Most of the sauces are vegan, even their buffalo sauce! This slightly spicy sauce was great! However I prefer their sweet hickory sauce for a classic bbq sandwich.
