If you are expecting sweet sesame paste, this is not for u. This has the authentic black sesame taste that is slightly bitter:) And it’s very worth the price since a big jar was only $6+ I think

First time trying black sesame paste and I’m rly pleased with this! Ingredient list is simple, just 100% pure black sesame seeds. No other added ingredients. Sweetness level is vvv minimal, so it’s a healthy snack! Price is q affordable ($6-7ish) for such a huge bottle.

i usually make my own black sesame spread (roasted black sesame seeds + maple syrup blended together) but this is good for when i feel lazy 😂 i add a bit of maple syrup to this when i spread it on bread. the taste is slightly nutty and pleasantly bittersweet (if you sweeten it), kind of tastes like dark chocolate + pb combined together. however, only try this if you don't mind the natural bitterness of sesame seeds otherwise you will probably not like it!
