i usually make my own black sesame spread (roasted black sesame seeds + maple syrup blended together) but this is good for when i feel lazy 😂 i add a bit of maple syrup to this when i spread it on bread. the taste is slightly nutty and pleasantly bittersweet (if you sweeten it), kind of tastes like dark chocolate + pb combined together. however, only try this if you don't mind the natural bitterness of sesame seeds otherwise you will probably not like it!
