I was never one for egg nog, but I thought I’d give this a try (because it’s vegan and it offered me the chance to write another review). It has a coconut and oat base. It’s been very many years since I’ve had egg nog, so I don’t really remember how it tastes. This plant-based / vegan nog was ok on its own. Unfortunately I didn’t have any rum to add to it, but I was able to add cinnamon. With the cinnamon, this was fantastic!! It was impressive. This nog was thick in its consistency, and white. If I remember correctly, egg nog has a yellow tint in colour. I’m indifferent about the colour. It’s low in fat, but high in sugar. I would buy this again, as long as I have cinnamon and hopefully rum too to add to it.
I don’t love eggnog, I like the flavour but tends to become too creamy for me after a few sips. This one was pretty milky however and not overly thick.
Excellent goût pas trop sucré. Mediocre selon Yuka. Un petit plaisir coupable.
