Not too bad, nice and easy and tastes good if you add your own kala black namakh salt - just a bit dry at the end

Another #easymeal tried for the first time. Again, I really liked this #scrambledtofu . It had #spices that made it tasty. I added it to fried red pepper and mushrooms, along with quinoa and lentils. Made for a flavourful light meal. The texture was good too, soft but held together well. Will purchase again, especially when it's on another special. 🍲🌱 #vegan #tofuscramble #easyveganmeal #veganfortheanimals #compassionatelifestyle
I was excited to try this new product, but I confess I did not follow instructions and popped it straight into the freezer when I got home. Apparently, it is not suitable for home freezing. Whoops! So, when it came time to prepare it, I fried it from frozen in a pan with olive oil. The texture was a bit crumbly (but that is probably because I froze it!) and it has fairly strong Cumin and Turmeric spices so think of it more as an Indian Scrambled Tofu. All in all, tasty and easy to prepare. I tend to prefer the more “scrambled egg” tasting varieties so this wouldn’t be my first choice but it is a product I would consider purchasing again. I served it on some unadventurous toast, but I’m sure this could be turned into quite a lovely meal with some fried tomatoes, peppers, onions and avo!
