This is a must have in my kitchen with chili pepper, orange peel, black sesame

seeds, white sesame seeds, Japanese pepper, ginger and seaweed. It also lasts an incredibly long time because a little goes a long way. Depending on how much one uses it, this spice could last anywhere from months with frequent usage to over a year using with only certain recipes like ramen or udon.

This makes everything taste better. Spicy but not overwhelming. You can sprinkle this onto just

about anything. #jaan

Peppery, zesty shichimi togarashi adds that “something extra” to dishes in need of a little

#seasoning help. For some reason, S&B has started selling it under the name “nanami” globally (perhaps intended to minimize confusion with ichimi?) although “nana” still refers to the same 7 ingredients as “shichi.” This piquant blend is the perfect finish for brothy dishes like ramen, udon, tofu, or nimono (vegetable stew); it’s also amazing sprinkled atop roasted cauliflower or French fries! It comes in a small jar, but a little goes a long way — definitely one worth keeping in the pantry.

Shichi-mi significa 7 sabores, Togarashi significa pimenta chilli vermelha.
