Peppery, zesty shichimi togarashi adds that “something extra” to dishes in need of a little #seasoning help. For some reason, S&B has started selling it under the name “nanami” globally (perhaps intended to minimize confusion with ichimi?) although “nana” still refers to the same 7 ingredients as “shichi.” This piquant blend is the perfect finish for brothy dishes like ramen, udon, tofu, or nimono (vegetable stew); it’s also amazing sprinkled atop roasted cauliflower or French fries! It comes in a small jar, but a little goes a long way — definitely one worth keeping in the pantry.



O Shichimi é a variação da tradicional pimenta Ichimi, fabricado pela S&B. Literalmente, significa "Sete Sabores". É uma mistura equilibrada de sete especiarias: pimenta vermelha chilli como ingrediente base principal; gergelim preto, gergelim branco, chinpi (casca de laranja), sanshou (pimenta japonesa), algas e gengibre. Pode ser usado em sopas, saladas, cozidos, assados, frituras e grelhados. Ótimo para quem gosta de tempero apimentado, muito saboroso. Gosto de finalizar o lámen e tofu cozido. Produto japonês.
