Unfortunately, despite being baked in the local in-store bakery, these cookies contain palm oil and preservatives. Texture-wise, historically, these have also been hit-or-miss. Mostly they're on the soggy, limp, tired side of the cookie spectrum, and very rarely (only once in memory 🥲) they've been lovely, fragrant, and crispy on the edges. If I pick up these cookies again, I'm dreaming about that one time. Their main allure is visual and the promise of what could be - I love the business of all the granola, choc chips, pepitas, coconut flakes, raisins. Otherwise, these are really the only freshly baked vegan cookies readily available in my area. (Coles recently slashed their in-house vegan cookies). They've also jumped in price. 😬 Oh well.

ICYMI yesterday was International Cookie Day 🍪 One of my colleagues was keen to grab some cookies for our team to indulge in, so after some quick googling I was happy to find that our local supermarket (Woolies) sold these. $4 for 5 cookies. And they’re great! Perfectly crunchy, chewy and sweet but not overwhelming. Sultanas and choc chips scattered throughout. Out of the two packages of cookies purchased, one vegan and one non-vegan, my colleague said these ones were better 🏆
