Shhhh! No one knows that I put this out with simple mills crackers and that it was all vegan. …and they loved it and ate it! I bought this on a whim, and I am so thankful I did. I can’t wait to try more of their products. The ingredients in this cashew cheese spread are phenomenal. I’m a big dill fan and the dill flavor is what hit me first when trying this. Then the flavor turned quite sour and a little odd. The ingredients are so simple so my best guess is that perhaps it is cultured more than I’m used to, creating more of a pungent flavor? I do really enjoy most Miyoko’s cheeses though, so it’s a bit confusing. I’ll try it in some more ways and see if it grows on me. I think if you like strong cheeses and dill then this will be lovely for you.
This is very good and could be used in many different ways. On crackers, sandwiches, veggies, etc. It’s not that close to havarti in flavor, but it’s as close as I can find in a vegan product. It’s a bit on the spends side tho. Overall, I love it.
This dip is amazing! A must try. Perfect with cauliflower crackers.
