For #Christmas lunch I decided to try the new Planet of Plants hot dogs and wrap them in puff pastry. They are made from sunflower oil and pea protein. The texture is identical to meat sausages, and I didn't notice any differences in taste either. This makes them an excellent substitute for hot dogs. They're #glutenfree, and they can be boiled in water or fried on a pan.

I served them with baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, red peppers, broccoli and red onions.

Vegan hot dog. Very similar taste and texature to the non vegan ones. I love

that the packaging is divided in two so you don’t have to open the whole package.

warning: they make these hot dogs on the same machines they make meat products. even though they clean it thoroughly between use, they don’t mark the product vegan because of it.
