I was happy to find a big case of this at Costco’s. It’s not often that there’s a vegan Korean style instant noodle with black bean sauce. Most have fish in it. The package of sauce is a generous size. But I was disappointed that there were no veggies in it. I wasn’t expecting it to look like the photo, as I understand that the packaging is always enhanced, but most instant noodles I’ve had at least have dried bits of veggies. But this wasn’t an issue because I had a frozen package of peas, carrots, beans and corn that I was able to heat up quickly to top this with. It’s probably healthier this way anyway rather than dried tiny bits. It’s just not as instant and not as practical to take on the go. Like most instant noodles, high in sodium, but this one at least provides fiber, potassium, iron, and protein.
