Vegan Easy Egg

It's... interesting. Key is to get it actually cooked through - when undercooked, it's grainy and tastes rather terrible. Looks like scrambled egg. Review from a non-vegan in my family - does not like the structureless texture. #veganegg #scrambledeggs

Non so cosa avessero in mente gli autori di questo prodotto, deduco produrre un'alternativa vegetale alle uova strapazzate, ma il risultato è davvero imbarazzante. Si presenta come una polvere composta per lo più da farina di ceci, aromi, spezie e varie gomme vegetali, bisogna aggiungere dell'acqua come indicato nella confezione e versare il composto in una padella precedentemente oliata. Una volta che il composto diventa un po' solido è pronto, il problema è che rimane molto appiccicoso al suo interno quando si strapazza con la forchetta, la consistenza non si avvicina neanche lontanamente a un uovo strapazzato e non parliamo del sapore... decisamente amarognolo, neanche lontanamente simile a quello di un uovo. Wouldn't fool anyone non vegan into believing it's an actual egg, but for what it is, it tastes quite good. I love this. It’s my favourite vegan scrambled egg replacement (I’m not a fan of scrambled tofu). This is made with chickpeas and it doesn’t taste exactly like egg, but it tastes so yum anyway. I find it easier to do it in the microwave than on the stove.
