So finally I was able to put my hands on this product, which I found

I also tried to prepare some bread slices with some plant-based butter, this Solmon and capers on top although my final result was not as pretty as hers 😅 but it was very tasty nevertheless! The consistency of the Solmon is very similar to a smoked salmon and to be fair, even its smell was very much alike! Taste wise I think this product is more delicate than actual salmon, which probably makes it more suitable for vegan since most of us have a hard time stomaching fish taste. It’s a nice hint of sea, but not too “fishy”.

It did spike my cat Carmen interest, which needed to come have a look and once we were eating she kept trying to smell what this mystery food was 😄

Just one small negative note was that after preparing the slices and handling the solmon my hands did smell a lot like it, even after washing them. I had to wash them throughly and multiple times to get the smell off.

Lasciate che vi presenti il mio frugale pranzetto di ieri, dove ho ricreato un piatto

che mia mamma amava proporre quando ero piccola: #toast con #salmone! Ingredienti necessari: pane da tostare, burro vegano, salmone vegano, capperi, a piacere anche cipolle crude.
Ho già avuto esperienze poco positive con il #salmonevegano, quindi trovo che ci voglia un pizzico di coraggio per provarne di marche nuove. Questo mi ha veramente stupita. Le fette sono molto sottili e non hanno quella consistenza gelatinosa che ho trovato in altre marche, anzi l'ho trovata piacevole per il palato. Addirittura tra le ricette suggerite ci sono le tagliatelle al salmone, che avevo provato a ricreare tempo fa con un altro prodotto, ottenendo un risultato disastroso. Tenterò la fortuna con le due fette che mi avanzano! Il sapore è buono, si sente molto l'affumicato e uno dei miei gatti mi guardava mangiare con l'acquolina alla bocca 😅
La lista degli ingredienti è lunga, iniziando con #acqua , maltodestrina di #mais, #proteinedipisello, #oliodicolza , #oliodilino e estratto di #alghe marine. 100g di prodotto (ovvero l'intera confezione con le 4 fette) contengono 6g di proteine e 1,7g di #omega3 .
Che dire, questo bacio dell'oceano penso proprio che lo ricomprerò! #nailedit

P.s. ovviamente non si tratta di un'alternativa ai frutti di mare ma al #pesce, ma la categoria non c'è in abillion 😅
