I like that one of the ingredients is cranberries. #snackSunday

I’m not sure how much these bars regularly sell for, but $1.99 is such a great price. So I picked up a few after realizing this product was vegan. I was totally surprised and happy. I remember having these bars as a kid. I love the softness and chewiness of these bars. They’re absolutely delicious. The main standout ingredients in these bars - almonds, peanuts, oats, raisins and cranberries - are all very visible and they come through in the flavour. It’s unfortunate though that the first ingredient is sugars (plural); each bar provides 7% of your daily sugar allowance. I suppose this isn’t too bad considering it can always be worse. Each bar also has 7% of your day’s recommended fibre. Now that I know these bars are vegan, I’ll be buying them.
Cero fe y estaba decentemente rica. No la comería habitualmente, pero para una vez muy de vez en cuando me pareció bien.
I usually steer clear of the cereal bars at work because the majority contain either milk or honey (hence all the recent chip reviews!) but these are the rare exception. They are oat-and-rice-based, with the eponymous dried fruit and nuts bound up in sticky syrup. I don’t find them very filling, as they’re on the small side and disappear in a few bites. They wouldn’t be my first choice if other options were available, and judging by how they’re always the last snack left in the break room, my non-vegan coworkers probably aren’t crazy about them, either.
