Extra Firm Silken Tofu

the way everyone raves about this tofu,, i MUST have been preparing it wrong ! 😭😭 i know this tofu was silken, but it refused to firm up no matter how long i air fried it for my sandwich! i gave up and decided to make the rest into tofu scramble. the tofu scramble was also not the best i’ve had… my super firm tofu scramble still reigns supreme. there’s gotta be something im doing incorrectly here, but until i figure it out im going to keep purchasing my refrigerated super firm tofu. that being said, i love how this is shelf stable (which is why i bought it!). if i could figure out how to use it, and extra fridge space and easy access will prove to be extremely helpful in day to day life. #silkentofu #tofu #tofuscramble

Tasty silken tofu found in super selectos in Sosonate, El Salvador

These are great to have in your pantry since they last a long time and don’t require refrigeration. We used this most recently in some miso ramen and it was the perfect texture.

Era da un po' che non prendevo del silken tofu e, visto che ci avviciniamo alle giornate calde, oggi era l'ultimo giorno buono per farci una zuppa 👌 Non ho ben capito per cosa stesse l'aggettivo "extra firm", perché il tofu era morbido ma al contempo si prestava bene ad essere tagliato in pratici cubetti. La confezione in tetrapak è stata per me problematica da aprire, in quanto sembrava più adatta per contenere del latte invece di un prodotto solido. Estratte il contenuto mi ha poi fatto partire qualche imprecazione, ma diciamo che ha fatto da condimento per il tutto 😂 La zuppa è comunque venuta buona e il tofu ha fatto bene quel che doveva fare ovvero assorbire i sapori. Sicuramente sarebbe il top in una salsa più densa e saporita, tipo una a base di peperoni 🤔 Consigliato! P s.: Preso all'Esselunga. #tofu #tofulover #meatismurder #broth #soup

Es el tofu más sedoso que he probado nunca. Creo que quedaría ideal en recetas dulces o para salsas.
