Super excited to find this at my local Sprouts Market! First off, the color and
texture of this cream cheese is on point. But unfortunately it’s strangely sweet in my opinion, so it’s good but not great. I enjoyed it on a bagel with red onion, tomato, and capers as I typically would do with lox. Surprisingly I think I prefer the Spero salmon cream cheese over this one since that one is lighter and has more of a fishy salmon flavor.

Ideally, this deserves on a bagel🥯 But it’s hard to find a “good enough” vegan
and gluten-free bagel😢 (reason explained in the previous post), esp to satisfy a New Yorker. Sure, I’m not a bagel fanatic. But still, there’s standard🤷🏻♀️😜
So it goes on the sourdough baguette🥖, and goes pretty well. It’s creamy and a bit tangy, complimenting the slight acidity of the bread. I’m not sure if it’s fishy enough to be called lox—even though there’s #seaweed in it—it’s still tasty, thus fine with me.
